is a ceramic artist and educator. Born in the United States, she shares traditional Chinese craft knowledge with an international audience and documents the long arc of her learning on YouTube.
She is apprenticed under Master Zhan Shaolin. Her studio work uses clay as a medium and framework to explore natural systems and the human connection with food, reflecting a deep interest in how resources, labor, and craft intersect.
Katherine is a graduate of Stanford University, and holds a Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems with a focus on Sustainable Food and Agriculture, and a minor in Art Practice.
